The Chateau was originally built in the 18th century and later renovated in the 19th century to its current Italian renaissance style.

 

Over the years it has been used in many different guises; a summer residence, wine merchants, a distillery and even a farm rearing silk worms.

 

The most famous past residence of the chateau were the St Expery family. Antoine St Expery was a French aristocrat, writer, poet, and pioneering aviator. He became a laureate of several of France's highest literary awards. He is best remembered for his novella The Little Prince (Le Petit Prince).

 

The owners invite you to enjoy the magic and decadence of the chateau under the watchful eyes of its guardian Sainte Cecile the patron saint of music.
